Tale of Love

To the chirping lovebirds
Must we come now again
Tales of love do never end
At the very beginning

Hours start passing in minutes
Friends now they never had
Ears and eyes reserved now
For that one face and the voice

For now, they no longer were
Trying to woo the other
It was nothing but love
Which had all but taken them

The days that passed in a daze
Or the nights spent with stars to gaze
Words never do suffice for, the stories
Of people in love

Its just a tale to see and feel
Things material, paper-pen
Not worthy enough to talk of love
The gift of God, the boon of life

Fables they may seem to all
Its only the hearts loving enough
Which feel and live the tale
A tale of love
