Arz Kiya Hai

A few days ago, i started writing sher(if these can be called so) and here is a collection of 10 of them which i have written in the meanwhile… This is my first attempt at this form of art, so cant say anything about the quality of them, hope you find them good….My attempt will not satisfy all the conditions of she, if there are any , but i get the feeling of them being sher.

1) Unki yaad mein humne rat bhar ki chand se bat
Wo to na aye unki yaadon ke sahare rehne ki ho gayi aadat

2) Aaftab sa tej unke chehre mein, bit chandni si komalta unke ehsaas mein
Jheel si gehrai unki aankhon mein, Raat sa andhera unki zulfon ke saye mein
Mere mehboob ka to kehna hi kya
Khuda bhi soche hairan hoke khoobsurati kaise aayi insan ki kaya mein

3) Hawa ki sarsarahat unka ehsaas layi
Barish ki cham cham unke paadep ki chanak layi
Us Dilruba ki yaad mein humne raatein tanhayi meni katein
Uske aane ke intezaar mein humne uski tasveer se hi baat chalayi

4) Humare gam mein unhone ashkon ki nadiyan bahain
Hum aise bhi bewafa na the
Ki jab bhi humari yaad ayi unhone apni kashti hi dubayi

5) Vo pardanasheen humnasheen se ban gayi dilnasheen
Unki aankhon ki gehrai humein dubati le jaye
Is ishq ki to dastaan hi kuch aisi hai.
Takthon-tajon ne iske aage sar jhukaya hum to akhirkar insan hi hain

6) Us pal ke intezaar mein palke bichaye baithe hain
Unke deedar ki aas lagaye baithe hain
Wo kya kayamat-e-din hoga
Jis din vo khwabon se nikalkar humari aankhon ke saamne ayengi

7) Aap ne humein sar aankhon par chadhaya aapki meharbani
Is nacheez ko tareef ke kabil samjha humari khush kismati
Ye to sab unki mohabbat ka asar hai
Is jeete jagte insaan ko shayar bana diya

(This was written as a reply to status messages of all my friends which showed things like “Himank the new shayar on the block” and other things)

8 ) Gham-e-Ulfat mein humne khudai se bhi ki dushmani
Sara jahaan ek taraf unki yaadon ki gehrai hi nazar aayi
Unki sohbat ke intezaar mein humne apni hasti hi mitayi
Jis Din vo saamne ayi kayamat bhi sharmai

9) Is haseen ehsaas ke liye alfaz bahut hain
Zindagi ki gaadi ka ek pahiya hai ye
Is nacheez ki kya aukat ki Dosti ke bare mein kuch bolo
Ye to hai vo paak jazba jiske aage mohabbat bhi sar jhukaye

10) Uska ek ashq duba de mujhe gamon ki gehrai mein
Uski ek muskan mita de mere saare gamon ko
Zindagi se bhi pyari hai vo zindagi ki dor meri
Uske bina to ab meri zindagi ki ummeed bhi nahin hai

PS3:- Sachin and Ganguly are playing so boring cricket, specially Sachin, his strike rate is measley 31.73…33 from 104 balls… 😦 Comeon Sachin..
PS4:- Woodstock in India… Rockinggg…..
PS5:- Ganguly out.. given lbw even when there was an inside edge.. Umpires in this series have gone nuts
PS6:- Finally i got to 1k comments 1007 before this post… Lets see ye safar kahan tak chalta hai..
